An Update on COVID-19 Closures

The Music Center and its theatres—Ahmanson Theatre, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Mark Taper Forum, and Walt Disney Concert Hall—will remain closed through at least April 19, 2020.

THE MUSIC CENTER CAMPUS REMAINS CLOSED THROUGH APRIL 19, 2020

In accordance with the Safer at Home order issued yesterday by Governor Gavin Newsom, Mayor Eric Garcetti, the County of Los Angeles, and other leaders to contain the transmission of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), The Music Center and its theatres—Ahmanson Theatre, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Mark Taper Forum, and Walt Disney Concert Hall—will remain closed through at least April 19, 2020. The Music Center is also canceling Earth Day L.A., scheduled for April 22, 2020. If you have tickets to an event on the Music Center campus, please contact the box office of the proper organization for information on donations, exchanges, or refunds.

Because the Los Angeles Master Chorale has no events scheduled between now and April 19 in Walt Disney Concert Hall, we have no further cancelations to announce. Out of an abundance of caution, and in expectation of future closings, we had already canceled our GALA 2020, originally scheduled for April 18 at the Hollywood Palladium. For more information on how to convert your gala ticket into a donation, or on future related events and activities, please contact Brian Tillis at btillis@lamasterchorale.org or 213-972-3162.

We also want to remind you that our March 28 and 29 performances of The Fauré Requiem are canceled. If you have not already exchanged, refunded, or donated your ticket, please contact our box office at 213-972-7282.

We are grateful to all our patrons and donors who are able to honor their gala donations and who are able to convert their concert ticket purchases into donations. The financial stability and future wellbeing of this organization is going to be significantly challenged due to this crisis. We thank you for your support.

Thank you very much for your patience during this difficult time. We wish you the best of health and hope you all stay safe. We will continue to keep you updated through this dynamic situation, including any updates to performances and events occurring after April 19.
