Bio:
Emma-Grace Dunbar, soprano, is a native of Southern California and keeps a busy performance schedule in both opera and concert. In addition to being a roster chorister and soloist with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Ms. Dunbar also frequently performs with the chorus at LA Opera. She has sung with companies across the United States including San Diego Opera, The Pacific Symphony, The New York Philharmonic, and Utah Festival Opera. Her operatic roles include Belinda in Dido & Aeneas, Servilia in La Clemenza di Tito, Kathie in The Student Prince, and Mabel in Pirates of Penzance. As a soprano soloist, she has performed Handel’s Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Fauré’s Requiem, and Bach’s Magnificat.

Having an equal passion for music education, Ms. Dunbar leads the music program at St. Patrick’s Day School in Thousand Oaks, is an assistant conductor with the choral program at Newbury Park High school and maintains a private voice studio. Ms. Dunbar earned a master’s degree in Vocal Arts from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Westminster Choir College.

When she isn’t singing or teaching, Emma-Grace can be found wrangling her toddler son with a large tumbler of coffee in hand.
