Named after a poem by Robert Frost, this concert features music of aspiration and inspiration from Brahms and Schumann to Meredith Monk and Michael Abels.
Reena Esmail, our Swan Family Artist-in-Residence, premieres a new work highlighting Hindustani and Western classical voices, paired with Fauré’s Requiem in D Minor.

From the opening notes of our welcome-back concert last September until the final notes of Bach’s B-minor Mass in June, our first season back since the pandemic was both a huge artistic success and a testament to the resilience of our singers and our audience. And now, we look forward with enthusiasm and optimism to a new season that begins on October 8 and 9 with Haydn’s Creation. I hope you all can join us.
